Real Estate Administration provides services for the development and management of University real property which includes leasing, acquisitions, disposition of surplus property, and campus infrastructure activities.  Our mission is to provide quality comprehensive services for the University’s strategic and practical real estate needs.

We are responsible for:

  • The purchase and sale of properties including appraisal, contract negotiations, due diligence, and closing.
  • Leasing and property management of off-campus property including commercial, office, clinical, research, and warehouse space.
  • Leasing services of University property for commercial use, telecommunications, licenses, management of wireless communication sites and easements.
  • Evaluate, coordinate the acquisition and management of real property.
  • Coordinating property tax exemptions, applicable tax payments and non-exempt assessments.
  • Managing University departmental relocations.
  • Managing tenant improvements involving project coordination and budget for off-campus lease
    properties.
  • Coordinating the demolition of surplus buildings.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and laws governing real property and real property transactions.
